Man admits killing rival suitor outside Norfolk pizza shop

NORFOLK A 21-year-old pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Thursday in a shooting that left a man dead outside a pizza shop. Terry Ryan Robinson admitted to shooting and killing Drew Lodge last year near a Delvecchio's restaurant in the 7500 block of Virginian Drive. Robinson also pleaded guilty to a felony weapon charge.

NSU basketball team's schedule includes challenges

Norfolk State's men's basketball team will visit Rutgers on Nov. 23 and Virginia on Dec. 20 this season as part of its non-conference schedule. The Spartans will play just two of their 11 non-conference games at home, hosting Jacksonville State on Nov. 16 and Iona on Nov. 30.
