Police will hold a highway safety checkpoint Saturday from 10 p.m. to midnight in the 7600 block of Shore Drive, according to a press release.

Did NPD give out this information to pass on to the public or was this something Va Pilot felt they had a duty to warn everyone so the drunks, people without car insurance,those with suspended license, wanted by the police, or those who happen to have your stolen GPS in their vehicle can go a another direction?
